This page substantiates range-based savings estimates shown on nivoryx.com and in the Nivoryx app. Nivoryx is pre-revenue — we do not publish customer case studies in v1. Figures are engineering estimates from secondary research, not guarantees.
No forward-looking guarantees
We do not claim “you save more than you pay” or guaranteed payback. Actual savings depend on your water supply pattern, tariff slab, tanker use, and pump efficiency.
Data sources (Delhi NCR v1)
- Delhi Jal Board published domestic tariff (slabs w.e.f. 01-02-2018; 20 kL/month metered subsidy continued per Delhi Budget 2026-27) and supply timing patterns
- MCG Gurugram FY2026 slab schedule and MCF Faridabad volumetric rate; Noida / Greater Noida / Ghaziabad flat-charge schedules
- BSES Rajdhani / Tata Power Delhi, DHBVN and UPPCL electricity tariff schedules (published slabs)
- Tanker market rate surveys (Delhi NCR range, 2025–2026 secondary sources)

Estimate methodology
- Model baseline tanker spend and pump electricity from supply intermittency assumptions.
- Apply automation benefit ranges from scheduled fill + dry-run protection (conservative / mid / optimistic).
- Express results as ranges with footnotes on the savings calculator and Why DASS pages.
- Replace ranges with measured Delhi pilot data as installs accumulate (target: 25 homes by month 3).
Savings calculator scope
The interactive savings calculator shows physical resource impact only— water litres, pump electricity (kWh), and CO₂ — from the user's overflow inputs. It deliberately makes no monetary savings or payback estimates: rupee outcomes depend on tariff structures that are ₹0-marginal for many Delhi NCR homes (DJB's free 20 kL/month metered allowance; flat charges in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad), so money claims are not substantiated and are not made. Model constants: overflow spill rate ≈30 L/min per HP of pump; pump draw HP × 746 W ÷ 65% motor efficiency; grid emission factor 0.82 kg CO₂/kWh (India average) plus 0.0003 kg CO₂/L for water treatment and distribution; equivalents use 3 L/person/day drinking water, a 75 W ceiling fan, and 21 kg CO₂/tree/year.
Limitations
- Not a bill-back guarantee or revenue-share commitment.
- Does not account for unreported manual pumping or non-standard plumbing.
- Tariff revisions and tanker price spikes are not forecast.
