Delete Your Nivoryx Account
Last updated: July 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Nivoryx account and associated data from the Nivoryx mobile app, published by Nivoryx Private Limited. You do not need to have the app installed to make this request.
Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the Nivoryx app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm your password when prompted.
Your sign-in is disabled immediately. Your account and personal data are permanently deleted after a 30-day cooling-off period, during which you can contact support to cancel the request.
Option 2: Request by email
If you cannot use the in-app flow (for example you signed up with Google Sign-In and don’t have a Nivoryx password, or you no longer have the app), email privacy@nivoryx.com from your registered email address with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. We verify the request and confirm once processing is complete, following the same 30-day timeline as in-app deletion.
Subscriptions and devices
- Active subscriptions tied to your account are cancelled when deletion is processed.
- Nivoryx devices are unlinked from your account. They continue to work offline in basic mode; a new owner can factory reset and re-register them.
- If you are on Device-as-a-Subscription (DASS), hardware remains Nivoryx property. Account deletion does not by itself complete device return or deposit refund — follow the Refunds & Deposit Returns and Device Deposit pages (or contact support) to return hardware and recover your deposit.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, phone number, preferences).
- Authentication credentials and sign-in sessions.
- Support chat history associated with your account.
- The link between your account and any Nivoryx devices (see above).
What may be retained, and for how long
Some information may be kept after account deletion where we are required or permitted to retain it:
- Billing and transaction records (e.g. subscription invoices processed via Razorpay) retained as required by applicable tax and financial-recordkeeping law.
- Security and fraud-prevention logs retained for a limited period to protect the integrity of the Services.
- Device-as-a-Subscription (DASS) telemetry is retained per our schedule (up to 18 months in raw form) and is severed from your account within 30 days of verified device return, not solely because the account is deleted. See the Privacy Policy, Section 6 (Retention). After severing, that telemetry is not personal data linked to you.
For full detail on how we collect, use, and retain data, see our Privacy Policy.
