Friends-and-Family Beta Agreement

Pre-commercial beta — real service, real money

You are in the Nivoryx DASS Friends-and-Family (F&F) beta under Phase A of the Delhi pilot. This page is the click-through agreement for invitees only. The commercial DASS Subscription Agreement will apply after public soft-launch (Phase B), once counsel has signed off.

You are participating in a pre-commercial beta program. This is a real service with real money — you pay a refundable deposit plus a monthly subscription like any DASS customer will after we launch commercially. You are also helping us find and fix issues before the general public.

1. Deposit

The deposit is refundable per the published Device Deposit Terms. During the beta, refunds are processed manually by the founder within 23 business days of a verified return.

2. Service level

Service is delivered on a best-effort basis. We may push updates, pause service briefly for debugging, or contact you for feedback. Support during the beta is via WhatsApp to the founder personally at +91 92174 05503.

3. If something breaks and costs you money

If our device causes a loss you can document (missed tanker, motor damage, or an appliance issue caused by the device), we make it right in cash — no arbitration and no deposit deductions for that claim. This is faster than the commercial DASS Agreement; you get that trade-off for being early.

4. Data

The same DPDP obligations apply as our public Privacy Policy. Nivoryx is the Data Fiduciary. Telemetry from your device stays connected to your account until you return the device.

5. When the beta ends

The beta ends when we launch commercially (Phase B). You may either:

  • Convert to the commercial DASS plan with 100% deposit carry-over (no re-payment of deposit), or
  • Return the device for a 100% deposit refund, subject to the standard damage-deduction schedule on the Device Deposit page.

6. Feedback

Please give us feedback — you are the reason this works. Honest reports of bugs, install friction, and unclear copy are as valuable as praise.

Acceptance

Invitees accept this agreement at DASS checkout on app.nivoryx.com when their account is in the F&F beta cohort. Acceptance is recorded with a timestamp on your subscription record.
